Is there an app to shut down your android phone from your computer?
I have a Samsung Moment (an android phone), today I left it at a friends apartment. I just found out that I can remotely download apps from the android app store online, but does anybody know of anyway I can shut down my phone from my computer, more specifically an app I can download that will allow me to do this? It ordinarily would not be an issue, but there are untrustworthy roommates that I would rather not have access to my personal information.

Nope. Unless you have ALREADY loaded an app that can execute a remote wipe (i.e. erase the phone)
