How To Remove Programs from your Palm PDA
Whether you’re out of space or just have too many unused programs on your Palm PDA, it’s a good idea to go through your Palm PDA from time to time and remove unwanted programs. Once you’ve determined which programs can be uninstalled, follow these steps to safely remove programs from your Palm handheld.

- Navigate to the Application window and decide which program you want to remove.
- Tap the Menu button and select Delete from the drop down menu.
- Select the program you want to uninstall from the list.
- Once the program is highlighted, tap Delete and then Yes to confirm.
- Verify that the program has been uninstalled.
Tips:
- Before deleting a program, make sure you selected the correct one.
- By removing unwanted programs regularly, you’ll free space on your PDA for other, more important programs and files.
Take steps to protect and extend your PDA’s battery life.
- Use the AC adapter whenever you can. This not only charges the battery but extends the battery life.
- Set your PDA to power down after a set period of inactivity.
- Adjust the brightness of the screen. You don’t need it to be 100% bright and it will consume less power.
- Set the backlighting to turn off after a certain period of time.
- Set your PDA on the lowest setting possible when not in use.
- Remove any unused devices such as Compact Flash and PC cards.
- Use alkaline batteries rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries may not be read correctly and the device may shut down without warning.
- Don’t overclock your PDA. This will drain the battery faster and may even void your warranty.
